INSTALLATION OF THE THERMOSTATIC CONTROL HEAD
INSTALLATION OF THE THERMOSTATIC CONTROL HEAD
THE THERMOSTATIC VALVE ALLOWS TO GET A CONSTANTLY IDEAL TEMPERATURE IN THE DIFFERENT ROOMS WITH ENERGY SAVINGS UP TO 20%.
The thermostatic valve for radiators is the simplest device of automatic control of the ambient temperature. When the temperature exceeds the desired level, the sensitive element dilates and it produces the shutting of the approppriate reduction of the hot water flow, therefore lowering the heat supplied by the radiator. When the ambient temperature decreases, the sensitive element will contract, causing the hot water flow to increase and therefore the radiator to increase its heat.
Convertible valves can be coupled to thermostatic control heads by a simple operation. This convertion into thermostatic valve can be implemented even in a working installation.
1. Remove the handle.
2. Rotate the thermostatic control head to full open (position 5)
3. Draw the control head close to the valve keeping the reference index fully visible, then manually screw the nickel-plated ring all the way to the blocking point.
Do not position the control head vertically; use the two adjustments stops by placing them in correspondence with the minimum and maximum desired temperature.
