Concrete support for Brescia Hospital

The company’s contribution to the Pediatric Hemato-Oncology, Infectious Diseases, and Hematology Departments

Itap has renewed its social commitment through a significant donation to Brescia Hospital. The initiative will help strengthen three key departments: Pediatric Hemato-Oncology, Infectious Diseases, and Hematology at ASST Spedali Civili. This project reflects the company’s desire to stand alongside those facing complex and delicate treatment journeys, as well as the professionals who work every day to provide care, conduct research, and drive innovation in healthcare.

The donation was made through the Fondo Itap, established at the Brescia Community Foundation. This fund serves as the company’s main tool for carrying out social responsibility efforts and giving back to the community.

One donation, three departments supported

The funds were allocated to three strategic departments at Brescia Hospital, each playing a vital role in treating complex conditions every day:

  •  Pediatric Hemato-Oncology:
Specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric cancers and blood disorders, this unit requires dedicated equipment and appropriate spaces to welcome both children and their families.
  • Infectious Diseases:
A key department for managing transmissible diseases and responding to public health emergencies. Up-to-date technology and access to advanced medical devices are essential for ensuring effective and timely care.
  •  Hematology:
A reference center for adult patients with blood disorders, this department combines clinical care and research to improve diagnosis and treatment. The donation will help provide tools, services, and innovative therapeutic programs.

A concrete commitment to the community

Through this donation to Brescia Hospital, Itap once again confirms its commitment to supporting public healthcare. The company is contributing directly to improving both the quality of care and the efficiency of hospital facilities in the region.

This initiative is part of a broader journey that Itap has pursued for years through the Fondo Itap, investing in projects that have a real impact on people’s quality of life. Supporting Spedali Civili in Brescia represents another step forward in Itap’s ongoing focus on collective well-being, with special attention to areas of significant social importance such as health.
