Caring for people means creating a workplace where wellbeing<\/strong> is not just a declared value, but a commitment reflected in meaningful actions<\/strong>. With this goal in mind, this year Itap<\/strong> once again partnered with ANT Foundation<\/strong> to organize a series of preventive health screening days<\/strong>. Through this initiative, we offered our<\/strong> employees<\/strong> the opportunity to undergo a free thyroid ultrasound<\/strong> directly at the company.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event is part of ANT Foundation<\/strong><\/em>’s Thyroid Screening Project<\/strong><\/a>, a prevention program designed to encourage the early detection of thyroid nodules<\/strong> and raise awareness<\/strong> of the importance of regular health check-ups.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Making prevention accessible<\/span><\/h2>\n

Prevention<\/strong> is one of the most effective ways to protect our health, yet it is often postponed. Busy schedules, lack of time, or the difficulty of balancing work and medical appointments<\/strong> can all lead people to delay important check-ups<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Bringing these services directly into the workplace<\/strong> helps remove some of these barriers, making it easier for employees to take time for their health<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Over the course of five screening days<\/strong> held at Itap’s facilities<\/strong>, employees<\/strong> had the opportunity to undergo thyroid ultrasound examinations<\/strong> in a familiar working environment. The screenings were carried out by qualified healthcare professionals<\/strong> and provided a service<\/strong> that was both convenient and easily accessible.<\/p>\n

For us, promoting prevention<\/strong> means turning a check-up that might otherwise be postponed into a real opportunity that fits naturally into people’s daily lives.<\/p>\n

<\/span>The Thyroid Screening Project and our partnership with ANT Foundation<\/span><\/h2>\n

The screenings were carried out in collaboration with ANT Foundation<\/strong>, an organization that has long been committed to providing free specialist home care for cancer patients while promoting prevention and early diagnosis initiatives.<\/p>\n

Through the Thyroid Screening Project<\/strong>, specialist physicians performed thyroid ultrasound<\/strong> examinations aimed at the early detection of possible thyroid nodules<\/strong>. The examination is simple, non-invasive and takes only a few minutes, yet it can represent the first important step<\/strong> towards further diagnostic investigations when necessary.<\/p>\n

This partnership allows us to offer our employees a high-quality healthcare service<\/strong> based on professional expertise<\/strong> and a strong commitment to prevention<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
