On Tuesday, May 20, our Rodengo headquarters<\/strong> opened its doors to a group of Industrial Mechatronics students from ITS Lonati<\/strong>, an excellent technical institute in the Brescia area that offers post-diploma vocational programs for the technical professionals of tomorrow.
This meeting was organized as a true experiential journey<\/strong>: an opportunity to discover the heart of the company and engage with those who, every day, make the manufacturing industry a living, concrete, and ever-evolving reality.<\/p>\n

\n

<\/span>A program designed to engage<\/span><\/h2>\n

After a welcome and introduction, the day began with a brief company presentation: our values, our history, and how people<\/strong>, technology<\/strong>, and attention<\/strong> to detail<\/strong> intertwine every day at Itap.<\/p>\n

This was followed by an in-depth session led by our technical manager Andrea Zonelli<\/strong>, who explained the development of the \u201cVitone<\/strong>\u201d: a project entirely conceived and produced within Itap. It was an opportunity to show what really lies behind the production<\/strong> of a mechanical component: research, methodology, prototyping, and testing.<\/p>\n

The core of the day was the tour of the production departments<\/strong>: divided into small groups, the students observed working machines<\/strong>, automated processes<\/strong>, and daily operations, guided by our department team leaders. Thanks to this experience, the students had the chance to see the production flow firsthand<\/strong> and engage informally with those who experience it every day.<\/p>\n

To wrap up the morning, we organized time for individual questions<\/strong>, an interactive feedback questionnaire, and a team-based test game designed to encourage active listening and teamwork.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Why we truly believe in these initiatives<\/span><\/h2>\n

In a region like Brescia, rich in excellent manufacturing companies and technical schools, the relationship between education<\/strong> and business<\/strong> is a strategic bridge to the future<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to the 2023 monitoring report by Indire \u2013 Ministry of Education, 80% of ITS graduates find a job within one year of graduation, and 92% of them work in a field related to their studies.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yet, in the same year, over 21,000 young Italians aged 25 to 34<\/strong> \u2013 often highly qualified \u2013 left the country in search of opportunities elsewhere.<\/p>\n

In this context, we believe it is essential for companies to take responsibility for creating environments of contact<\/strong>, dialogue<\/strong>, and discovery<\/strong>. It\u2019s not just a matter of career orientation: it\u2019s a real investment in the future<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Opening the company\u2019s doors means:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Letting students experience what \u201cproduction quality<\/strong>\u201d really means;<\/li>\n
  • Providing direct interaction<\/strong> with real<\/strong> professionals<\/strong>;<\/li>\n
  • Describing work<\/strong> without filters;<\/li>\n
  • Creating connections that can lead to trust, growth, and awareness<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
