DRINKING WATER, A HUMAN RIGHT

Drinking water has been a very hot topic for years now and, having strong implications for the state of individual health, it takes on more value every day.
Access to drinking water is essential for individual and collective health.

From the ethical value of the most ancient civilizations it has today taken on, together with sanitation, the role of human right in the programs of the UN (point 6 among the 17 goals for UN sustainable development), the WHO and the European Union, as

«FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLE OF THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC WELL-BEING OF EVERY HUMAN COMMUNITY»

WHO estimates that 30% of the world population does not have immediate, continuous and safe availability of it and that less than 1% of the water available on our planet is drinkable.

In addition, critical issues, such as legionella contamination, environmental pollution or lack of availability in many regions of the world lead us today to reflect on this issue.

By now, we have a motto: water is an essential good and it is our job to safeguard it and take care of it.
