People’s health is a core value at Itap. That’s why the company recently organized three days dedicated to melanoma prevention, offering employees the opportunity to undergo dermatological screening directly at the workplace.
The project, carried out in collaboration with the Carolina Zani Foundation, aimed to raise awareness and help prevent melanoma, one of the most serious and aggressive forms of skin cancer. Early diagnosis remains the most effective way to detect and treat this condition promptly.
To make melanoma prevention truly accessible, Itap brought specialist doctors directly into the workplace, eliminating time and logistical barriers. Thanks to this approach, many employees were able to undergo screening without interrupting their workday.
Beyond prevention, the initiative also had an important educational purpose. Throughout the screening days, specialists provided informative materials and offered practical advice on how to protect skin from UV rays and recognize early warning signs.
Here below some of the healthy habits shared during the sessions:
For Itap, investing in melanoma prevention at work means not only providing a health service but also fostering a culture of well-being that involves everyone. Health becomes a daily priority, creating a work environment that’s attentive, informed, and prevention-oriented.
We thank the Carolina Zani Foundation for their professional and dedicated collaboration. Their contribution was essential in providing a high-quality service designed for the people who work with us every day.
This workplace melanoma prevention initiative marks just the beginning of a journey that Itap intends to continue developing over time. We will keep investing in prevention and awareness projects, with the goal of putting people first and encouraging a healthier, more mindful lifestyle for all.
