Donation in support of the Primo Levi Institute

A shared commitment to renew the Mechanical and Mechatronics Labs at the Primo Levi Institute in Lumezzane

Our company has joined the renovation project for the teaching laboratories at the Primo Levi Technical Institute in Lumezzane, through a donation made with the support of the B. Castelli Foundation. This initiative was created to breathe new life into a vital educational institution that has, trained highly skilled technicians for the manufacturing and industrial sectors for decades.

The donation is specifically aimed at upgrading the Mechanical and Mechatronics departments, key sectors for local employment and the competitiveness of Brescia’s industries.

A collective effort to empower the Next Generation

The project is the result of a partnership between institutions, industry associations and local businesses, all joining forces to revitalize a school that holds great historical and social importance.

Promoted by Fondazione Castelli, with the support of other local organizations, the initiative aims to turn the Primo Levi Institute into a true center of excellence for technical training.

Over the years, this school has trained generations of professionals, many of whom have gone on to become entrepreneurs, specialized technicians or key figures in the local industry. However, the labs have fallen behind and no longer have the essential equipment needed to deliver effective and up-to-date education.

Helping to revamp this school means offering equal educational opportunities to local students and preparing them to face an increasingly specialized and competitive job market.

Itap’s vision: skilled youth and strong communities

At Itap, we chose to actively support this project because we believe the future of the territory depends on education. Investing in schools and skill development means building a more solid, resilient industrial ecosystem: one that can face the challenges of technological transformation, digitalization, and sustainability.

Through this donation, the company reinforces its desire to play an active role in developing the next generation, supporting their growth and their entry into the workforce.

A Lab for Learning and Growth

The project goes beyond simply purchasing new equipment. It also includes renovating learning spaces, creating training programs aligned with industry needs, and strengthening cooperation between schools and the business world.

The goal is ambitious: to transform the Primo Levi Institute into a true reference center for technical and vocational education, capable of attracting motivated students and training the workforce of the future.
