Itap operates in two manufacturing facilities: one in Lumezzane and one in Rodengo Saiano, two closely linked hubs working in perfect synergy. The Lumezzane plant is the historical core of our mechanical operations, deeply rooted in the artisan tradition of Val Trompia. The Rodengo Saiano facility, on the other hand, is where technology meets industrial organization, with a highly automated and constantly evolving system.
The strong connection between the two sites allows flexibility, logistical efficiency and specialized internal processes that strengthen the excellence of our entire production cycle.
Since its founding, Itap has strongly believed and in-house invested in production. The choice of not out has allowed us to optimize every stage of manufacturing, build advanced internal expertise and maintain strict control over every product we bring to market.
Across the Lumezzane and Rodengo facilities, more than 400 machines are in operation: from CNC lathes, automatic transfers machines and robotic cells. This synergistic system works daily with micrometric precision.
Our production lines are designed for maximum efficiency and traceability, with interconnected software systems aligned with Industry 5.0 principles. Every valve, fitting or component is the outcome of a structured process where quality is not optional, but a core standard.
In our plants, automation doesn’t mean replacement, it means support. Robots work alongside operators to improve safety, operation consistency and time management.
Operations such as threading, countersinking and dimensional checks are handled by an automated systems that ensure uniformity and minimize errors.
