In 2023, our company proudly joined the #BOLIVIAconAGUA project: an international initiative aimed at ensuring access to clean water and basic sanitation services for the most vulnerable families in Bolivia.
By taking part in this effort, we chose to contribute to a high-impact, socially driven project aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 6: “Clean water and sanitation for all.”
In 2023 alone, #BOLIVIAconAGUA achieved remarkable results:
The total investment amounted to $2.2 million, supported by a targeted fundraising effort of $871,000—made possible through the collaboration of Italian and Bolivian companies, including Itap.
These resources funded the construction of sustainable water systems and essential infrastructure to bring clean water to areas lacking basic services, directly improving public health and living conditions.
Access to clean drinking water remains one of the most pressing global challenges. The #BOLIVIAconAGUA project shows how collaboration between institutions, NGOs, and businesses can deliver practical, long-lasting solutions: helping reduce inequality while promoting health, education, and economic development.
Thanks to the support of companies like Itap, the project helped build over one hundred water infrastructures between 2020 and 2023, strengthening the resilience of local communities and promoting sustainable resource management.
Through its involvement in #BOLIVIAconAGUA, Itap reaffirms its commitment to being an active force for change and supporting a business model that generates well-being, inclusion, and sustainability.
