Itap thermostatic valves for higher efficiency

Thermostatic valves and heads are among the most effective tools for reducing energy consumption and improving indoor comfort.

They automatically regulate the flow of hot water into each radiator based on the selected temperature. When the room reaches the desired level of heat, the valve reduces or stops the flow, preventing waste and maintaining stability.

How thermostatic valves work

Each thermostatic valve consists of:

  • A nickel-plated brass body, controlling the passage of the heating fluid;
  • A modulating shutter, opening and closing according to room temperature;
  • A thermostatic head with a sensitive bulb, detecting air temperature and adjusting the water flow accordingly.
